BARROSO BSR

2017 Bay Canadian Warmblood Gelding

Sire: Bliss MF (Balou du Rouet x Argentinus)

Dam: Lizzy Bon (Ikoon x Irco Marco)

Breeder: Buffalo Skins Ranch

Barroso BSR (barn name: Tucker) was bred to be a three-ring prospect and although he is still green, he is showing a lot of talent.  Tall, dark, and handsome, Tucker has the presence and lovely movement to command attention in any ring.  Tucker's pedigree includes some of the most well-known bloodlines in sport today, notably Balou du Rouet and Argentinus.  As a result of the success of their offspring, these two stallions spent years on the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) sire ranking list for Jumping.  Tucker is strikingly similar in type to his dam, Lizzy Bon: compact in build, with enough blood to make the jumps feel easy.  He is careful, powerful, and smart.  Tucker inherited the classic hunter attributes from his sire, Bliss MF.  Tucker maintains an easy rhythm and jumps in good form with more bascule than his dam.

Tucker attended his first shows in summer 2021 and handled the show environment like an old pro.  He jumped around in both the hunter and jumper rings and was unfazed.  With his pedigree and desire to be a show horse, Tucker is expected to be a strong competitor in the future.

Clean x-rays on file as of late 2020.
